Steve Kerr got his first taste of international basketball competition during his college years when he represented the US National team in the 1986 FIBA World Championship in Spain. Alongside other amateur players, the University of Arizona point guard helped the USA fly through the tournament and capture the gold medal. Years later, Kerr joined the coaching staff of the historically dominant United States team for the Tokyo Olympics. Despite losing their first game to France, the USA recovered to win their next two games and advance beyond the group stage. Led by a scoring outburst by Kevin Durant throughout the knockout rounds, the United States cruised to their fourth straight Olympic gold medal and 16th overall. Later in 2021, Kerr was appointed head coach of the United States team where he still holds that position today leading into the 2024 Olympics. This basketball is autographed and inscribed "2020 Gold Medal" by Steve Kerr. Kerr's signature and inscription were witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA's 5-step authentication process. This item is limited to 20. You will receive a random number from the edition.

The autograph(s) includes an official Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
