Riddell San Francisco 49ers full-size authentic on-field helmet. Hand-signed by Joe Montana (HOF) and signed & inscribed by Dwight Clark (D. 2018). Clark added "The Catch" and drew the iconic play.

"The Catch" is one of the most iconic moments in NFL history, immortalizing Joe Montana and Dwight Clark in football folklore. It occurred during the 1981 NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. With less than a minute left in the game, the 49ers were trailing by 6 points and faced a third down on the Cowboys' 6-yard line. Montana dropped back and threw a high pass into the back of the end zone. Clark, leaping high above the defenders, managed to snag the ball with his fingertips, securing the touchdown that ultimately led the 49ers to victory. This play not only propelled the 49ers to their first Super Bowl but also solidified Montana's reputation as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and Clark's as a clutch receiver. The Catch symbolizes the essence of teamwork, precision, and the ability to perform under pressure, making it an enduring moment in sports history.

The autographs include an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram, as well as an official Joe Montana player hologram for authenticity purposes. The signing of this item was witnessed by JSA.
