Frame measures 17" x 17" in size. Features an original drawing that has been hand-signed and drawn by the artist, Keith Haring.

Keith Haring, born in 1958 in Reading, Pennsylvania, displayed a passion for drawing from a young age, learning from his father and popular culture like Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney. After high school, he briefly attended the Ivy School of Professional Art but dropped out due to a lack of interest in commercial art. Moving to New York in 1978, he enrolled at the School of Visual Arts, immersing himself in the city's alternative art scene.

In New York, Haring found inspiration in artists like Jean Dubuffet and Andy Warhol, developing a unique graphic style centered around bold lines. He gained recognition for his subway drawings, created on blank advertising panels, which became a familiar sight to commuters between 1980 and 1985. Haring's public works and collaborations with artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat and musicians like Madonna solidified his place in the art world.

Diagnosed with AIDS in 1988, Haring used his art to raise awareness about the disease. He established the Keith Haring Foundation in 1989 to support AIDS organizations and children's programs. Haring passed away at age 31 in 1990, leaving behind a legacy of accessible, socially conscious art that continues to be celebrated in museums worldwide.
