Factory sealed "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" VHS tape. The tape features a circa 1985 early side loader sleeve, watermarks on the side and a UPC sticker on the bottom.
Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss), an ordinary man, encounters a UFO and becomes obsessed with its significance. Along with others who experience strange phenomena, he is mysteriously drawn to a remote location. There, an extraordinary event unfolds as humans make first contact with extraterrestrial beings in a life-altering experience.
Stephen Spielberg directs and the film makes for the second time - the "Jaws" theme being the first - that one of the most memorable elements of the movie is a theme comprised of five or fewer musical notes.
