Photo measures 8" x 10" and has been hand-signed in blue felt-tip pen by Bill Buckner (Red Sox) and Mookie Wilson (Mets).

The 1986 World Series pitted the National League champions New York Mets against the American League champions Boston Red Sox. The Mets won the Series in the seventh game, after overcoming a deficit of two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning in Game 6 to win and save the Series. This was a game in which the Red Sox were twice one strike away from victory, and one that ended on a famous error by Boston's first baseman Bill Buckner after their lead had already been blown. Game 6 has been cited in the legend of the "Curse of the Bambino" to explain the major comeback.

The lot / autograph(s) includes an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
