Official Pacific Coast League Wilson Baseball. Hand-signed on the sweet spot in black ink by Satchel Paige (Indians HOF, D 1982). Satchel Paige is the first player from the Negro league to be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame. Paige typically signed baseballs on the side panel making baseballs that he signed on the sweet spot extremely rare.

The autograph has been authenticated and graded 7 by James Spence Authentication (JSA) and Beckett. This is the highest grade given by JSA for a Satchel Paige signed baseball. This is quite possibly the strongest example of a single signed Satchel Paige baseball to be offered at auction.
